A UNIQUE opportunity exists to contribute to a book of memories focusing on the Maydown area, entitled Maydown Memories.
A list of list of activities and dates has been drawn up by Maura Johnstone, tutor for developing the book, which include: childhood; homes; occupations and working life; holidays and festivals; society andconventions and religion; war and the troubles; customs; weddings, wakes and funerals, health, medicines and cures.

Maura would also like as many as possible of the following: Recipes, games, hints and photos.

This book is for all relevant ages within the Maydown area as it will allow people to put thoughts and memories in a book that will be read by future generations to come.

The next session for the book was held yesterday (Tuesday), in Strathfoyle Library.
