Londonderry and Strabane’s local peace action plans have been allocated nearly 8million euros under the European PEACE IV Programme.

Applications under this priority of the PEACE IV Programme are currently under assessment.

The Executive Office said: “It is anticipated that all EU Programmes, including PEACE IV, will form part of the discussions that are to take place with the European Union during the upcoming negotiations following the recent referendum decision. In the interim, the SEUPB will continue to implement the delivery of PEACE IV as Managing Authority for the programme.”

The PEACE IV Programme was formally adopted by the European Commission on November 2015.
