Nuclear police asked about alien thieves
THE police force responsible for guarding Britain’s nuclear power plants says it is up to Special Branch (SB) to inform it if there are any threats to plants such as “aliens stealing all the nuclear waste.”
The Civil Nuclear Police Authority (CNPA) were asked by Iain Cambridge what continegency plans it had in place in the event of an alien attack.
Mr Cambrige was concerned about “aliens stealing all the nuclear waste from power plants, aliens landing near a power plant or aliens threatening to destroy all nuclear establishments.”
He asked the CNPA if there were any plans for such scenarios.
In response the CNPA said Special Branch was responsible for alerting the force to any threats.
“Special Branch peforms the intelligence role for the Constabulary, enabling threats to be detected, disrupted ot deterred in the planning stages.
“Gathering intelligence quickly and efficiently is often a crucial part of figthing a potential or emerging threat.”
“SB gathers, investigates, analyses and disseminates intelligence, ensuring that Constabulary officers, staff and stakeholders are aware of current intelligence and potential threats to any site; this significantly reduces the risks to the civil nuclear industry, and helps the Constabulary fulfil its mission,” the CNPA advised.
