Vale Gaels out to defend their title

THE Vale Centre annual 5-a-side tournament will take place on Saturday at 10am. The action will continue throughout the day with 32 teams competing for the £750 prize money sponsored by Braidwater Ltd.
Cups and trophies up for grabs include the Winners Cup, Player of the Tournament, the Patsy Crossan Fair Play Cup and Top Goal Scorer.

Each team will consist of five players and two subs. Teams are split into eight groups of four as below. The tou
rnament is restricted to Junior Players only.

The teams competing and groups are as follows: Group A - Ballyburn Sideburns, Green Toes, Allstar Rockets, Westbank United. Group B - Leroy's Legends, B.K Dons, Average Joes, Green Toes. Group C - Spasms Allstars, The Water Bhoys, The Inbetweeners, Vale Gaels. Group D - 4 Cornflakes & a Rice Crispy, Dunloe Bhoys, Lily Whites, River Media. Group E - The Trancendalists, F.C Coping Badley, Celtic Bar, St Johnston. Group F - Newtowne, Sugar Rovers, Frank & the Tanks, Riversiders. Group G - Duncreggan Celtic, A Team of Gary Breens, Wellington Celtic, Ballymagroarty. Group H - Westbank Monaco, Raffs Rovers, Golden Balls, Lisahally.

No changes to any team's players will be accepted. Teams must arrive for registration at 10am and the tournament starts at 10.30am sharp.

ID must be shown at registration and be made available during the tournament. Shinguards must be used by all players. Referees on the day will be Noel Moore, Marty Dunne, Dermott Liddy and Charlie Kilpie.
