THE annual and hugely popular Glen Cup gets underway next month, on Thursday, July 2, with a host of teams like the Northern Ireland Supporters Club, Clooney and Drumahoe all expected to take part again this year, in various age group competitions.
The competition's annual charity this year will be the Children's Hospice.
The under 10 and 12's competition takes place on Saturday, July 4, while the under 14 and 16 tournament will be staged on July 11 and all matches will take place at Foyle & Londonderry College.
This year for the first time organisers of the Glen Cup, in conjunction with Derry City and Oxford United will be hosting a mini-soccer day, on Tuesday, July 7.
