STARTING on Monday, July 6, local dance company, Echo Echo, will be offering a week of dance classes for ages 12 and over.
Local professional dancers will teach the classes in the company's dance studio in the Waterside Theatre, which has accessible and free parking on site.
The teenage group is called Daring Feet and is open to boys and girls of all abilities with no n
eed for any previous dance experience. Participants will work on choreography, improvisation and technique leading to composition of their own dance sequences, working in groups, pairs or solos.
If anyone is thinking of joining the Daring Feet weekly classes in September, this is the perfect opportunity to come along, meet the tutors and other members and get a feel for the work that Daring Feet does.
The classes are from 2pm to 5pm each day for one week and the course costs £30.
All of the Echo Echo summer schemes are held in the Echo Echo Dance Studio and the company is offering a range of family discounts and bursaries to participants.
There are also schemes available for younger ages from 5 years upwards. If you would like to book a place or get some more information, contact Echo Echo on 7134 2266, email info@echoechodance.com or visit www.echoechodance.com.
