EGLINTON paralympian, Jason Smyth has struck gold again - with his wedding to sweetheart Elise Jordan.

Elise was a constant presence beside him at the Paralympic Games when time allowed him away from his preparations.

The happy couple tied the know at Salt Lake City, USA.

The Eglinton-born Paralympian and his bride are pictured with family members, from left: Brett d’Hulst, Leeza ‘Smyth’ D’Hulst, Lewis d’Hulst, Laurajayne Smyth, Elise ‘Jordan’ Smyth, Jason Smyth, Diane Smyth, Lloyd Smyth, Jessica Smyth and Justyn Smyth. The happy couple were married on Saturday , December 29, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, actually standing on the steps of the temple.
