Whats happening around the club?
Skipper confident duo will stay
INSTITUTE skipper Ruairi Boyle is confident that defender David Ogilby and midfielder Philip Lowry will be at the club next season.
The no holds barred defender feels since John Gregg's appointment, not just Ogilby and Lowry, but the entire squad are more happy and can't wait for the 2008/09 campaign to get underway.
"I know that some players weren't happy until Greggie came in, but they are happy now and having spoken to OG and Philip last Thursday night at training, they are both happy to stay here," said Boyle.
"I know that other clubs are interested not just in those two players, but other players at the club, but in my opinion why go somewhere else because you live here, it's handy."
Although Boyle admitted that playing for your home town club was convenient he also confessed that if you don't put the work in, then you have to live with the consequences.
"If there are players in our dressing who aren't 100 per cent committed to the club then out they go.
"John and McGinn will know what players aren't giving their all and they'll sort that out, because as far as I'm concerned it's onwards and upwards for Institute Football Club."
